Hard Rock

The auction is scheduled for Monday, I believe. Now the Hard Rock has filed a suit.

It will be interesting to see if the courts actually let this go through.

Thanks Sue, you are alway's on top of these things!
No foreclosure...a minority debt holder just making waves

I am a local and a fairly big gambler. The Hard Rock is one of the few casinos where I win. They have a new comp system with three tiers. Once you make Diamond you get a host (I'm sure there are exceptions). Staying in the HRH Towers is great and I believe the rooms are the nicest in Las Vegas (except maybe for Palazzo/Venetian). The downside is that you are not technically "on the strip" -- but if you are looking to gamble, this is a great location. If you cannot stay in the new HRH Towers, however, skip it. The old rooms have paper thin walls and this is a late late late venue.

How is their VP? We are still debating at staying their or Palms. ( I have a comped salon at Palms and suite at HRH Towers) My concern is I have heard about many drug and other issues at HR which I don't want to have to worry about.

I hate not being able to find a reliable source for drugs either. If you need to score at the Hard Rock, talk to the guy wearing the braves hat outside of Pink Taco.

While the HR has some playable vp (i.e. JoB & BP Dlx), it pales in comparison to the Palms offerings in terms of quality, quantity and variety of games.

Will be staying there this Wednesday in a HRH tower room and will post opion on the room by the weekend.

Thanks, Dan - would be very interested in knowing about the vp (slant tops? multi-line? QQ maybe?) and rooms as I've never been there.
