Hard Rock Downgrade

Effective 1/22/15, the coin-in on video poker was increased from $2 = 1 point to $4 = 1 point, for a measly .025% base free play rate.

The Hard Rock is simply not competitive with other off-strip locations with this super-low rate.

For example, South Point is .3%, the Coast Casinos are .3% with an Emerald card and .2% & .1% at the other levels. Rampart is .25% with double points at least once a week raising it to .5%. Palms is .25% with gift cards or free play during the week adding another .2%. All the casinos mentioned here have better (higher EV) games as well.

I hope they get a ton of revenue from their concerts, night clubs, Rehab, restaurants, etc. because it ain't coming from the local VP playing community.

Its been lame for awhile. I will admit to planning two stays there, knowing this, since a 4* comp still holds enough value to spill a part of a percent in EV. Guess I'll find out later if HR is still gonna comp this 25c BP grinder. I doubt they'll tell me on the frontside. Could qualify as a gamble? Good luck!
I don't think they are interested in getting the people from the Coast casinos.

I play more than my son and he gets better offers than me
