help with Reno Peppermill hotel rooms please

Going to conference at the Peppermill in October, never stayed there, please fill me in on what rooms I should try to get. Suites are not in the budget, What differences are there between the lower priced rooms and an upgrade or two? Not having stayed there before, I'm finding it hard to choose from the their website.
The Tuscany suites are great, but if suites are not in the budget, the regular tower rooms should suit you just fine. I don't think the upgrades to the tower suites (with in-room spas) are that good of a deal unless you like spending a lot of time in the spa tub.
Less expensive are the Montego Bay rooms, which are a bit darker and smaller than the tower rooms. Ok if you'll be by yourself, and can walk a few stairs to get to the casino.

October!? Wow, you are a planner.

Don't sweat it. Most rooms are nice. I would NOT suggest Montego rooms though. AVOID.

Anything in the Hotel tower are Fine, and Tuscany Tower even better.
Eye heart the Peppermill, but she's turned her back on me. Ahem. Long story.

I've stayed in several different rooms there. What was called the Montego Bay wing is now called the North & West wing. My room was decently nice, about as nice as a better room in downtown LV. It's a little bit of a hike from those rooms to the casino (or the exit, if the casino isn't your thing). The Peppermill Tower rooms are very nice. These are closest to the casino, though some of the hallways are long. I know you said suites were out, but they've often offered Tuscany upgrades for cheap (like $30 a night) or even free. The Tuscany Tower rooms are very, very, very nice. If you're a bathroom snob, these are your best option and probably worth the upgrade cost. These are also a good ways from the casino, so wear comfortable shoes. All the rooms have been upgraded in the past few years and they're working on the rest of the hotel. Which is kind of too bad, but that's another long story...

I thank you all for the input. Usually for this conference the lowest price rooms are reserved for the conference participants. At least that's how it had been at Grand Sierra/Reno Hilton before, but this year the conference is moving to the Peppermill. I emailed the Peppermill and the Tuscany Suites are available for the conference participants at $119 per night. That will fit my lodging budget if I can stay at Harrah's comped 1 night and the other 3 at the Peppermill. The exhibit hall vendors tend to put on some really nice evening parties and it's great to be staying at the conference hotel.
We'll be staying at the Peppermill next week. I'll be sure to post a TR with pictures.
Love the Peppermill! Go for the Tuscany tower, it's really nice.
