These are our favorite casinos when we visit LV. Does anyone know how busy they are? Daytime or evening? Are they having enough customers to make it?

I think Boulder Highway was struggling even before COVID hit. AZ Charlies got rid of table games last year. Eastside Cannery is still closed, I believe.
I still get offers from AZ Charlies Decatur which I plan on using in a few weeks. And I am also a big fan of Boulder Station which I will also frequent. I'll let you know what I see.
There are no casinos that are doing well, but the locals' casinos seem to be doing better than the higher-end Strip properties, which aren't making enough money to pay their bills. The mid-tier and bargain-ish Strip properties are barely treading water.
The casinos you like (and I also like BS, though I only go to AZCB for the food specials and I have vowed never to set foot in a Boyd casino ever again) haven't had their core customer base quite as badly disrupted as the Strip megatoilets have. They depend on milking the locals, who haven't left, as opposed to the tourists, who aren't coming.
Lest any of us burst into tears at the misfortunes of the poor poor casino industry, it should be noted that on average, in March, Vegas casino corporations had enough of a cash stash to survive 18 months with no business at all.
I understand your anger at Boyd Gaming. When they switched to their tier system it basically gave the big middle finger to VP players and we will have been spending less time in their casinos. I was just wondering if these places were feeling like ghost towns these last few months. Thanks for any information

Kevin, I'm curious what information you have on individual casino profitability. Please elaborate.

Balance sheets. Income and expense reports. Publicly available, as almost all the casinos are owned by publicaly traded corporations.

It's really depended on the time of day and day of the week. Overall, business is down, but most casinos are still pretty busy on, say, Friday and Saturday nights. Tuesday morning, it might be deserted.
Anecdotally, while Vegas is still getting visitors, that's heavily skewed toward the weekends. Midweek, there are almost no tourists, which has influenced several Strip properties to curtail their hours of operation.
I've visited several locals casinos over the last few days...and they are all packed. Boulder station, Gold Coast, Orleans, Az Charlie's Decatur, sunset station, Jerry's nugget. Boulder station had three full craps tables last night - I couldn't get a spot. And there was easily 300 people playing machines
for the life of me I can't understand why Texas Staion and the Palms are closed, The locals joints and places that cater to gamblers seem to have their attendance unimpacted by Covid. The strip is another story.
