Is Sam's Town Lessening Their Room Offers?

I just checked on-line today my room offers from Sam's Town for April and May, and I find that instead of giving me three free nights and $15 food credit for each of those months, they are only offering me two free nights and a $10 food credit. I visit there 3-4 times a year, and have never cut back my amount of gambling I give them. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Would it be worthwhile to contact a host there or do you think it wouldn't matter (any good host recommendations?). Thanks!

No cutback here. Hosts are at a premium there, mine is the GM...and he takes very good care of me (at least his secretary does). Suite, gold card, $100 fp & up to five nights each month.
just went to their website----for april and may--- I show I qualify for 3 free nites anytime, and 11x slot points and 7x video-poker points-----would be interested to find out if the 7x video-poker points includes their 10/7 db and their fpdw games---if so this looks like a good deal----
I am still getting 3 free nights monthly thru May. They cut back on food sometime last year to $10 but that is still the same also. I have played very little at Sam's Town in the past year.

After a LVA discussion on comp-maxing at ST, this winter offers did in fact bump to gold card plus 75 dollas each of jan- march. But they dropped back as of last website reloading of may and after. I don't have a clue what happened to April! Time will tell. Good luck!
It's funny,my offers early last year included free nights but the food credit completely dried up.Now,all of a sudden,my last offer, which includes February,March and April, are for 5 free nights plus $125 free play and a gold card.Hard to figure their marketing department out.And I will be taking advantage of this offer in March or April.

As far as I know (not that I know this about Sam's Town specifically), LV Casino hotels do all kinds of things with marketing and what they do and having something based on the time of the year is definitely another factor that they can work with.

It's not like it's summer when more people may be out and about (at least maybe May or June when the weather isn't so hot). Plus also, if someone hasn't been there in a while, they can also send out a "We Miss You" kind of offer to try to get you to come back.

the wife had gold card offers the last nine months of 2013 and for jan.-feb.-mar of 2014, but the latest offings for april-may show the standard 3 free nights, $25 in slot play.
it was a nice run while it lasted. we gave up a long time ago trying to figure out casino marketing.

as an aside, and personally, we think a nice gesture on sam's town part, they are calling people who have reservations for jan. 26-30 to advise them plumbing will be off in their rooms from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. potties downstairs will apparently be working.

you can fill in your own punch line.

personally, I don't need any more old man 'plumbing issues' than I already have. We are going down the highway to Boulder Station and see former ST host Johnny Difulvio, who was nice enough to comp us five nights.
My offers have gotten better for April and May - two free nights and food credit. I like Sam's Town and have been hoping to get some free nights.
Whoa - I was thinking about staying at Sam's Town the 27th and 28th, but if the plumbing is going to be off forget it. Glad I booked Southpoint instead.
