Be as cautious, prudent, intimidated, logical or illogical as you want to be. It is a free country. Time to live life and make personal choices that you wish to. I head up to the bar to play VP my choice if I play next to someone smoking like a chimney. If you are concerned about the potential of people not being vaccinated keep your distance or gamble at off times. No one should require anyone to show vax papers. This is America stop the madness, so glad all these restrictions are going away. Florida, Texas and Georgia have all provided the data to support getting rid of all the ridiculousness. So glad Vegas is there now as well. Been out there 5 times the last year and can't wait to get back in 3 weeks!😎
Oh, come on. "This is America" doesn't mean that you have unlimited freedom and can act however you please, and it never has. You and I do NOT have the "Freedumb!" to behave irresponsibly and endanger others.

Florida, Texas, and Georgia are run by stupid, evil Republicans (who, among other things, want to stop people from voting). So when they do something, such as removing all pandemic restrictions, that's ipso facto proof that it shouldn't be done. The data you mention actually support keeping restrictions in place until the population reaches a certain level of vaccinations, which those states are nowhere near at this point. Of course, Republican officials gain political favor by acting as it the pandemic is over---and the public responds "woo hoo!" and happily goes to the monster truck rally or rodeo to infect each other once again.

It's silly that you call pandemic precautions "ridiculousness." That "ridiculousness" has saved hundreds of thousands of lives, including quite possibly yours. So you've been a little bit inconvenienced. So you haven't been able to go outside and play. So goddamn what!
