Last casino in Primm is closing

Primm Valley is closing its doors end of June.   The gas station is closing too.

I never made it out there before.....it was always on my list but it never happened.

I dont think anything is left after this, right?   its essentially going to be a ghost town.

I enjoyed the roller coaster rides. I even played some of the progressive vp machines but never won. The place looked deserted for years. Buffalo Bill was the last man standing I guess. When the outlet shops started to shut down, it was the beginning of the end. People like to drive all the way and not stop by the state-line. Mission failed.

I suspect that at least a couple of the gas stations and fast food places will remain open. It's a decent pit stop, and a relative bargain compared to the stations on the north side of Barstow, and much cheaper than anything in Baker. The big gas station in Jean is still the best option if you need to fill up before you reach Vegas.

I never saw any appeal in this place as a destination, not even overnight.
