Local Hotels - LVH - Room to request

We are staying at LVH in March / 3 nights for $149 with all the free show, buffet, slot money and dining offers included.

What rooms are good to ask for at check in. Does the $20 trick work for an upgrade. Any tower in particular that is better than the others.

Any kind of help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Best rooms are the remodeled ones in the North Tower. Never tried the $20 trick because my husband is HHonors Gold so we always get the free upgrades. Try it, what can it hurt?

Thanks for the confirmation that the North Towers have the remodeled rooms. I guess the worst they can say is no! I will have to get brave and try it.

I think with that $149 special, you can get the additional upgrade to the North tower for $10 per night, which is worth it for me.

The Central tower room I got in 2010 was also remodeled and looked identical to the North Tower room we had last year. So, I don’t see the North Tower rooms as superior. However the North Tower rooms are much more convenient to the North Tower parking garage by way of an external elevator at the end of the hall. That can be nice for quick ins and outs, especially with luggage. So, by all means ask.

Does the LVH still honor Hilton gold with room up grade breakfast and spa?

LVH is honoring the Hilton Honors Gold and up levels until April 3rd. Make sure if you make a reservation they take down your Hilton Honors level and number.

The part about remodeling part is true above about the Central tower. But the downside to the North tower is the LONG walk from many of the North tower rooms to the casino. Closer to parking garage = further from casino, and most restaurants. To each his/her own.
