M Daily Give-Aways

In the past the M used to have several days a month where they gave away something - wine, shirts, umbrellas, etc. - if you played some minimum number of points. We are going next month and I just checked their website and did not see any giveaways for the month. Have they stopped doing this? Thanks.

Yes, they stopped doing those.
No more 500 point gifts.
Instead they are sending coupons to locals only.
We asked in Feb. because we saw the long line
of people getting their gifts.

but I got my long sleeve waffle anniversary T friday.. and I'm not a local

Was that T one of the monthly coupon gifts mailed out.

Maybe they gave us the wrong info, but the rewards
desk said we could only get our coupon gifts.

They're still sending gift coupons to out-of-towners with their free room and free play offers, but they are no longer having the gift days where you play 500 points and receive a gift. Two totally separate animals.

Thanks for all the good feedback! I've heard of out-of-town folks getting an in-town PO box (and having it forwarded), but I don't want to work it that hard...
