M mailers

The big, most disturbing change that I noticed in my May mailer is that it only offered two free nights for the current month (May). In the past, 2 free nights were also available for 2 months into the future. Not having the 2 July nights to book now makes it harder to plan around when we travel considerable distances and must book lodging around our flights.
I see M struggling and the locals really have to be a main stay for them to crack the nut.....AS I said we enjoy it but without and offers that are appealing it is way too far out and there are way too many casinos before we get there. Like I said we visit 6/7 times a year and like to visit several casinos during our week stays and yes we will miss it but we will make it without M I'm sure. They do have friendly employees and have always been treated well there....
For those of you from out of state who have not received your August mailers yet, get prepared for a shock. My offers have been slashed. Instead of 2 free nights a month (including weekends), I'm down to buy one night for $69, get the next one free....SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY ONLY. Tournament invitations that used to include further free nights now charge for the room on the nights of the tournament. Perhaps M is trying to discourage video poker players from visiting their establishment. I loved M Resort for 5 years...now it's goodbye.
I am out of state. play VP there, and my offers have not decreased at all in the past year. In fact, my friend, who plays less than me has seen increases in offers with a small increase in play. We are careful to track our average play per day and keep it consistent. 2 Nights 7 days a week comp room offers is what we both see.

The last offer I received was the July Aug Sept offer for 2 comp nights any day of the week, a free buffet for that period and some freeplay. This is the same offer that I have been getting for the past 2 years, with the odd exception of May, when I had no offer at all.

They seem to know that I go in December every year...because I don't get squat from them until around Oct/Nov.

Seems like the comps are not as lucrative as they used to be and that's Just as well. I've grown bored with that place. It seems to be a tomb every time I go. I could never pass up the $20 free play and free buffet. But the buffet has gone down hill slightly...and the free slot play isn't as big as before. Guess I'll wait and see what they send me this year (if anything).

I receive a monthly mailer but it is always the same: free buffet and $20 in free play. Even though it is pretty far out, I make the trip primarily for the buffet but, honestly I like the feel of the casino and I usually do pretty well. I usually run 1K through, not enough to generate any room offers other that the $69-$99 per night "special". My guess is that if they sent me a free room offer, I would take advantage of it. Although I am diamond at Caesars, it doesn't seem to make any difference to the hosts there when I tell them "give me a room offer and I will play more." I think they are waiting for me to play more first.

I get the same as you, Ted, and I run about $2-3K thru every trip. It's worth it to me to get the free buffet and fp - will usually time it for the weekend to get their seafood buffet. I know others have said that the buffet is not what it used to be, but then neither am I ...

I live out of state and visit M about 4 times per year. My mailers have decreased from $50 to $40, and now $35 free play every two weeks. But, still get three free nights, any days of the week, plus 2 free buffets every two weeks.

Interesting Durham, because I am out of state and get $40 free play every 2 months (not 2 weeks like yours), my room comp is 2 nights (not 3 like yours) and I get one free buffet for a 2 month period (not 2 every 2 weeks like yours).

Odd that I would get more free play but less on the other parts of the offer!

Is your play VP, slots or tables?
