M October Mailer

Called guest services since my October mailer hasn't shown-up yet. They said it should be coming in a week. Usually get 2 nights free along with free play and multpliers. She said to stop by in October if I didn't receive it and they will know as they have copies of the mailers. Told her it doesn't help with room reservations as I need the code off of the mailer. Not much she could help me there. I didn't try calling a host as I can afford to wait the week to see if it shows. Thought others who are waiting might want to know.

M is notorious for sending mailers out too late. I live in NY and by the time the mailers got here, the hotel offers were usually sold out. I called a host and told him of the problem. He said he's mentioned it to them, they know it, but don't care.

Obviously that's still the case if they are telling you the October mailer will be in your hands in 2 weeks. That almost puts you in the middle of the month before the offer arrives.

How the eff do they expect people to make plans when the offers arrive 2 weeks into the month?

To barb941us. The codes differ depending of the offer. Your code may not be the same as the one that may have been mailed to the original poster and may not be valid for him/her. For example, my comp room code is different than yours.

Also, the M is VERY insistent on the need to present the coupon at the time of check in for comped rooms.

My freeplay amount has not changed, yet I noticed my free buffet coupon no longer includes a line pass!

To Wjkomo . I know the codes differ from person to person for the same month, but I just gave the code I used to maybe help the OP, book a room before his dates are filled. Also, thanks for the heads up about the free buffet coupon no longer including a line pass. I checked mine after reading your post an it also is gone.

Visited M September 20 and of all places that needs to get mailers out on time it is M. people were walking around with some free gift and most just hit the doors directly from the promo booth. We have quite a few points and do like the buffet will exhaust points and scratch from list as places to visit and gamble. Buffet even though I feel I fallen backwards it is still very good.
