It seems as though they are starting to add dead days in between the free play periods in order to keep people from using more than one free play offer in a trip. They have done the same in the middle of the month (adding 2-3 dead days with no freeplay). This keeps you from being able to use the early month and late month free play both, or the end of the month and beginning of the following month freeplay on the same 2-5 day trip.
Other casinos do this as well.
