M Resort offer questions

We have received an offer thru my local casino for a comped 2 night stay at M with $25 free play per day and a one time $50 resort credit. We are already staying at Paris for 7 nights in late August and was wondering if you thought it would be smart to double book this offer? We have been to M but only for an hour maybe. My wife loves to sun and lay around the pool so she would be interested in the pool at M. I like to play live poker and video poker so I would be interested in knowing what you think of those at M. Any suggestions on mid-range restaurants at M?

Thank you in advance for any advise. I also read the offer very carefully and it does not say I need to give them any certain amount of play per day. I will ask them about resort fees if I decide to take the offer.

I think M's pool is nicer. Although I've only dined at the buffet, I've heard good things about their restaurants.

Because M is located at the south end of town, I would book the room for the end of my trip and change my reservation at Paris to 5 nights. From M, it's a pretty easy drive to Southpoint, Silverton and GVR.
M doesn't have a resort fee. They eliminated it awhile back. We love staying there.
I would take the M for the last 2 nights also! It is my favorite place in Vegas. Your wife will enjoy the pool, not very crowded through the week. The beds and shower are wonderful! Veloce is also a great choice for eating-great views from there!

M has very nice rooms and I agree your last two nights would fit nicely there. They do have a shuttle to the airport but, you will probably have to take a cab from Paris to the M...it's a longer distance than you would think.

M buffet has gone down in quality. The pool is very nice and they have a party there each Saturday night that is free. Poker room is usually available and the sports book is large and accomodating. Most drinks are $5 including premiums at the casino bars.

Usually will find $15 minimum BJ tables and $5 minimum for at least one craps table and one three card poker. You will notice in the last Advisor that the slots have been tightened and I certainly noticed this on my last trip.

Try to get a room on the strip side as it has a great view...the other side of the building has no view at all.
There is a shuttle from the Fashion Mall so if you can walk from Paris it's free. I did it a couple times from Planet Hollywood.
jcreek is right re: the shuttle...personally I would consider that a long, tough walk in August but, you can always hop from casino to casino to get there...also assuming you might have luggage.

I would just cab it from Paris knowing your ride from the M to the airport will be free.
