Has anyone been invited to a slot tournament at the M this fall? Last year we were invited to a Hallowe'en event and would love to go again. Since our offers are mailed to Canada, we often don't get them until very late.
I received one for October 5-7 on August 31. I really like the M and their tournaments but they don't give enough notice for people traveling from a distance to get reasonable air fares. I have only been able to attend them if one happens to fall during a trip I had already planned. I have written them multiple times, and spoken to hosts, asking for more advance notice with no real difference. I like Sam's Town events because they do give you a good lead time on the invites.
