My Station offers are getting screwy, are yours??

The only consistent thing about my Station Casinos offers is their inconsistency.

I was having the same problem, so I decided to see if it wanted me to create an account. I used the exact same username and password that I was using on the old website, and voila - it let me do it.

I've noticed the same thing that several others have mentioned - no room offers at all after Aug 3. It will just about kill me to have to pay for a room after all this time, but if that happens it will give us a chance to explore a new property.

Try calling a host to book you at wherever it is you want to stay. Its a lot more certain and they can always review your play for comps. The website doesn't show everything, and a host can get you into tournaments, etc. even if you don't get a mailer. You just have to give them action, which I assume is why you're in a casino hotel anyway. Have never had problems going through a host for past 15 years or so now at GVR, RR, SS, BS.

I recently had a GVR host contact me about a tourney offer.
He couldn't offer me Anything different than what the offer detailed.
When he asked me for my CC# to hold the room?
I said, "Well, if you need the same info, as if I booked it online myself, what exactly do I need you for?"

He paused, and seemed genuinely baffled. lol
I then told him, Thanks anyway, I can take care of it myself, good bye.

So, Luckyfrog, many of us prefer to SEE our offers beforehand,
and usually do just as well booking it ourselves!

We have responded to two of those GVR "Yes/No" e-mails. Once with a question about the offer details, and a second one (about a month later) with a specific request to book the offer. The host never called, never answered, never got back to us. So we booked ourselves by calling the number on the offer, and got a really nice reservationist.

We play TONS at Stations, and we are both President.

The next time I get one of those "Yes/No" e-mails, I'm going to report the guy sending it to Stations management.

"My offers only go to Aug. 3. It says I have 5 offers, but only shows 2.
I just emailed their Contact Us, about getting a room comp late Aug. since there aren't any offers listed."



Here's the Response I got from-- Casino Marketing Coordinator Green Valley Ranch Resort :


"I was trying to help you look for August offers. But, because our program is setup to look only one month ahead
(which is up to July, but actually got to see up to August 3). Mailers/offers are setup to go out 1 week before the month comes.

When it gets near the third week of July, I would be able to see if you would have any August offers.
This is as much as the program can look into."

Something is wrong with Stations offers, if you are only going out a month at a time? Thats Not right.
I get offers Months in advance at MGM, CE/HET, Venetian/Palazzo, etc.

One month ahead is small potatoes, and Not enough notice for out of town guests....
which is who Stations is marketing Comp rooms to, Right?

I've been getting Comps & Casino Marketing offers for 30 years. I'm Not a newbie.
We get offers in Advance!
Good luck with only marketing a month at a time. Stations should know better.

My offers from Stations show all 10 that are available. And that includes August and September. Every month I get a new one for a rolling three month period. The types of offers are inconsistent but I always get them. So the person you contacted is feeding you a line of BS.

Vegasvp, are you using Mystation.com? The rest of us have been sitting at Aug 3rd offers for 2 months now. Yes they used to show our offers for 3 mths out, but there seems to be something wrong with the program. Or maybe they don't want out of towners.

+1. Vegasvp has to be the only 1 who is still getting 3 month offers. Heck..August 1st of last year I used my Stations 3 monthers to book 3 seperate 2 night offers. At the rate Stations is going now, last August may have been my last stay at a Stations casino.

And I havent found the need to deal with a host in years....Just show me my offers enough in advance and I'll take it from there.

Thank God I got back on the CET radar after a May week in A. C.. I used to double book Stations and MSS/Orleans (bconnected family). Now it looks like CET and BConnected will be my Vegas buddies. Heck MSS/Suncoast/Orleans/Gold Coast and The Cal had my August offers posted a month ago!

Strangly enough SueCasey hasn't chimed in on this post. That's must mean that Stations has really screwed up!!
