Need Opinions Rio/Gold Coast/Palace Station

Trying to decide from these three. My friends are going for a bachelor party and staying at MGM mid September. I missed the good rates there, so thanks to my lack of Vegas trips, my choices are Rio for $399 all in, Gold Coast for $299 all in, or Palace Station for $202 all in. Now what's important to me is getting a cheap breakfast near my hotel, easy/cheap travel to meet friends for college and pro football near MGM,then a decent place for a nightcap by myself back at my hotel. Don't care about pay tables where Im staying, as I likely will only be betting sports while there. Any info/suggestions is appreciated.
The Palace Station rooms are nice. Cheap, filling buffet. Of the three choices and for the cost, I prefer the Palace Station.

But doc - you would NEVER stay at any hotel that charges the dreaded resort fee, right?

WOW! melonhead was quick on that one!

RIO or GOLD COAST. Rio has hash house a go go restaurant for a good breakfast. but even if you stay at GC, it is just across the street. GC rooms are good enuf, nothing fancy. and they have the lowest resort fee of the 3. also, GC is an easy walk across the street if u wanted to checkout the Palms resort. the staff at GC would probably be much more friendly / civil. no matter what, enjoy your stay!! win big, but leave some money for me to collect in August please.
I like the Gold Coast as pointed out low resort fee compared to ceasars properties also if you want to go to the strip you can catch the coast shuttle or walk across the street catch the Rio shuttle to harrahs and take the monorail to MGM.

Gourdhead- FYI, whenever I stay at the Palace Station my room is always comped. I don't and won't ever pay a ripoff "resort" fee. Also, when rdalert447 stated that the room charges for the Palace Station was ALL IN for $202., to me that meant that included any ripoff "resort" fees. And Gourdhead, if you don't have any worthwhile content to impart as to rdalert447's question, you should probably resist the infantile urge to take a shot at me- you are out of your league. Have a nice day.
Thanks everyone. The prices I quoted include whatever ridiculous resort fees the hotels charge. I wasn't sure if these properties still had the free shuttles, so that's good info. I'm leaning Gold Coast, because I always liked the gambling and restaurants there, and am interested in making that my long term place. Still up in air though. Also considering hotels on the monorail line, if I could get a comparable price. I think I'm in the minority when I say I love the monorail.
Palace Station saves you $200 over Rio, $100 over Gold Coast.

That leaves money for door to door taxi ridees from Palace to MGM and back.
No chasing shuttles or the monorail (and the long treks to/from the monorail stations).

The focal point of this trip being a bachelor party and college/pro football with your friends, your own casino gambling agenda, (i.e. getting on with Gold Coast for future comps) will take a back seat.

This is just one angle to consider. Suggestion only.

Sounds like you've played at the Gold Coast before. Did you use your Player's
card and sign onto BConnected before you asked for rates. Even with minimal
play that usually gets you better rates. That often holds true for Harrah's properties
also.
