No Venetian/Palazzo offers? Director of marketing info

my room is comped. Maybe you do have to go through a host. He contacted me a couple of weeks ago and introduced himself. Which is odd, because I got a e-card from my former executive host like the next day.

I decided to go with palazzo rather than Caesars, because my bankroll will be offer endingly low and I would rather end my relationship with V/P than with Caesars

I say SCREW V/P!!! Who needs them anyway,there are plenty of nice hotel /Casinos in and around Las Vegas that WILL give you a good deal. Let's go back a few years when rooms at V/P were $129 and up...it was nice while it lasted for us low/mid level players. They want to try a different approach now, I say in this economy GOOD LUCK!!! no. I am low Diamond with Harrah's, but I haven't stayed or played at V/P in over a year. I haven't been back in a while because I got really tired of gambling my butt off and after losing a thouand or two thousand over a weekend being told that I am still 'overcomped' and they can't take care of any of my room charges. This time I am not worried about it. My bankroll is better suited for Fitzgeralds or Binions this trip, but my hotel room tastes lean much more towards Palazzo.

I am really ticked off at them.
I worked my but off and lost most of my holiday bankroll there reaching 30,000 points for the year.

I tried to book the offer I have in hand for March, and without even asking the dates, I was told that
even though I had received the offer for 2-4 nites comp there were no comp rooms available Jan-Mar.

What a waste of my dollars in December when I could have been running up credits at one of the MGM properties or the Wynn.

We go back in May and if no comp rooms available I will not be giving them any of my dollars.

Wow, Carol. That makes me really steamed to hear that. I was at 26,000 points in October and almost made an extra trip in December to hit gold status, assuming it would mean an increase in offers. What a terrible, terrible way to do business.
