Orleans reservations room type not guaranteed

We are taking our adult children to Vegas right before Christmas. We have two rooms with two double beds reserved at the Orleans. The Orleans does not guarantee room types and we are considering getting a third room as a insurance policy so we do not have to share beds. What are the chances that we would only get king bed rooms at 5 pm on Saturday night?

hmmm... good question. I have stayed at Orleans many times with no such problem, but I don't check in on Saturday night. I would think that they would have to be near capacity for that to be an issue.

My impression is that the "no guarantee" policy mostly applies to the primo rooms, suites, etc. that many people request. Except for the biggest players. In fact, that is the purpose of the "no guarantee", in case they get a lot of bigger fish whom they want to give those rooms to. And mostly applies to suite requests.

I'd bet you won't have a problem getting two double/queen beds.

I don't think I would worry as room occupancy rates typically drop right before Xmas.
