orleans resort fee

Back in June, I booked 2 nights in October at the Orleans using a two night free offer. Although we're usually not charged the resort fee,the confirmation stated there would be a $11.19 resort fee for each night. I guess we should have booked an earlier stay. I just received another email confirmation for those 2 nights, but the resort fee is now$15.99. Amazing, where's it going stop?
I've never been charged the resort fee on a comped room, even thought it sometimes shows on the confirmation email. Maybe you should call them to make sure you don't get charged....
I received an e-mail stating a ripoff "resort fee" would be assessed for my reservation , which is comped. I called the Orleans and was told that the e-mail I received was "generic" and that since my reservation is comped , I would NOT be charged the ripoff ''resort fee". I advise you to call and double check.
I stayed at Orleans in May and August, I paid no resort fee on my comped room. I hope this has not changed.

I was comped 2 nights and my wife was comped 2 nights for our August 26-29 trip and we had NO RESORT FEES when we checked out.
never paid a resort fee in vegas on a comped room-----not so in atlantic city ,where all casinos charge a fee for comped rooms at different prices at each casino----
My wife and I were there Sept. 12 - 14 on comped nights. We were not charged resort fees.
Stayed @ Orleans in May & had 2 comped nights & no resort fee was charged.
