Palace Station...Are you serious????

My take is to always assume I will NOT win the tournament money (maybe that's why I don't win-LOL)and decide based on other aspects of the offer that are attractive to me.

But, the higher the prize money, the better the freebies that go with it, so the prize value is something to consider. The 10K tournament is bound to be better in terms of the freebies.

Sounds like Orleans is the better play.

I got the same email and got really pissed actually when I read it. Seriously . . . are they kidding? And I am sure the $15/night resort fee would be on top of that so that's $50+ a night for a room. Someone could walk off the street and stay at most of the HET hotels midweek for that price. I really liked Palace Station a LOT, including the basic rooms and especially the BINGO room. Red Rock's is a lot nicer but the feel of the Palace Station BINGO room remains my favorite. But I'm thinking of staying at the Orleans too Big Brother . . . in protest. We should crash there at the same time. And Orleans does still have 8/5 BP. Palace DOES have good VP but it's just the principle of the thing . . .
