Palms place or Ivory tower

Which would you choose for the nicest experience- room comparisons? Pools? Can you use both pools if staying at one or the other?

One of the greatest things about the Palms Place rooms had been their balconies. However, since some dunces decided to be clever and throw things off those balconies, the doors leading to the outside are now locked. It's a real shame that the actions of a few idiots ruins things for everyone.

Also, the walk to the casino is substantially longer if you're staying at Palms Place.

That said, Palms Place is really nice. And having a kitchen can be super convenient.

You can use the Palms Place pool if you're staying at either of the Palms original towers. It is my understanding that the vice is versa.
I've stayed in both recently. I'll go with the Ivory Tower but PP holds it's own.

A few points:

PP has the larger standard room but the new IT rooms are much more nicely appointed.
IT is obvioulsy much closer to the action but you can use the PP "quiet pool" too if you want some R & R.
PP has MUCH faster valet parking service.
IT new rooms are whisper quiet IME, PP rooms were not as quiet.
