Stayed three nights recently in the Palms Fantasy Towers. My wife spent several hours each day at the Palms main pool. I spent a total of 1.5 hours at the pool. Comments & observations.


- 12 oz. Coors Light was $9.00. 12 oz. Corona was $10. Bottle of Fiji water was $10.

- No ice water available. They give you a cup of ice and you walk to the sink in the bathroom (or use your $10 Fiji water).

- Pool side cocktail servers have excellent ASSets.

- "Ditch Friday" at Palms pool is madness. Evidently it is the most popular pool scene in Vegas even for locals. Hotel guest get in free but you must be there early or there is absolutely no where to sit for LESS THAN $125.

- $125 for a normal lounge chair in the sand. $1,000 for a large round chair/bed. Yes I said $1,000. Cabanas on Ditch Friday ? I didn't ask- I'm guessing $1,500+.

- People were fighting and arguing for any free chair that was suddenly open.

- I would guess there were 2,000 people at the pool around 4 pm on Friday. I saw it from my window.

- Music was typical "house techno" with volume set, so that on the 30th floor of the Fantasy Tower I could clearly hear it. Yes, I said 30th floor in the Fantasy Tower.

- Lots of good looking guys & girls. Lots of silicone and lots of muscles.
