Palms Resort Fee on Comped Rooms

I received an offer from The Palms that included 3 free nights Sunday-Thursday or $79 Friday and Saturday and $25.00 in Free Play among other things. In the small print, I noticed it said a $15 daily Resort Fee. If I book for the free rooms, does the Resort Fee get waived? I already have other rooms booked elsewhere, but $25 in Free Play never hurts, but if its still the $15 resort fee daily, then it's not worth it.

Hosts have discretion to waive resort fee but it is not automatically waived for comped rooms.

On my last trip my host comped the resort fees. They do give you $20 bar comps for each day which is supposed to offset the resort fee. Just check the dates on the bar comps since they will only accept them on the dates listed.

I called about the offer today and they told me that the $15 resort fee would be charged.

It may be charged but can still be waived by a host should your play warrant it.
