Palms VP

Well, I guess we knew this was coming. Palms removed all 100% VP (with execption of 2 machines). At least they still have the 99% payback.
Well that's too bad but I can't say that I'm surprised one bit since I knew that CET connections in Las Vegas are easily the Kiss Of Death for decent VP!

I wonder how Bob Dancer will report this development either in print or on his radio show!

We head out for Las Vegas tomorrow, the 2nd and our first 3 days are at, you guessed it, the Palms!

We are going out in two weeks. Was going to stay at the Palms. Going elsewhere I guess now. I'm thinking GVR.

This is disturbing and hopefully not the start of a trend to completely downgrade Palms. I do not play FPDW but I never like it when they remove good schedules. As long as they keep the games that I play and continue to send me offers, i will continue to visit.
Played at Palms a week ago. No luck for me on the wheel poker.........but lady next to me
playing $-- 5 play was dealt 2's & kicker, so got to Spin 5 times. Ended up with $6,700.

As she was waiting to be paid........an asian woman sitting a row over..........playing $5-- 5 play,
was DEALT a RF.........$100,000.00 OMG!!!! Never seen one of those before!
She was calmly playing the machine next to it while she awaited her jackpot. Yowza!

I couldn't believe it.
They removed the machines a day or two before we got there.

Holy crap, CLV!
$100,000.00!
And the woman is non-chalant about it?

I guess if you play $125 a pull...maybe 100K isn't that big a deal.
Sheesh!
Did she take cash or a check?
Candy: N'cat has a picture of the screen. They had technicians come in and open the machine and verify that everything was kosher (it was).

Here's my answer: she took it in cash. It was a carried by a Chippendale dancer, half of it in his pants.
Too funny TB.

I texted 'Cat to COME SEE!!!! (she was playing a ways away)

I got a pic of it too........but I'm usually too lazy to post it. lol

Didn't see if she got a check or cash. My guess, check. But I didn't skulk around to find out.
I had Losing to do.

P.S. Candy, she only had $85 left in the machine, so I think she would put in a hundy & play a hand.
Lather, rinse, repeat. She got helluva lucky in short order.
No wonder the Techs went over it with a fine tooth comb!
