Plaza

I'm not going to bicker further with you, but with LVA announcing that only slots would operate during renovations, with one poster reporting that the Plaza website says renovations will continue through mid-2011, with others reporting crowds in the casino numbering roughly the same as the number of fingers on a typical human hand, all in this thread, I don't see much reason for your confusion.

No, there are no table games at the Plaza right now.

Wouldn't it have involved less typing to just say no, that the table games are closed?
Tom: Ham is salty.

Dick: Yeah, but ham is delicious.

Harry: Does anyone know if ham is salty?

Chilcoot: Grrr....
Chilcoot- please, get back on your medication.
I like Chilcoot. I find him extremely amusing and I appreciate his commentary/reviews.

Just got back from Vegas, stayed at the LV Club. Everyone seems very positive about the Plaza renovation (i.e., nobody seemed to be waiting to get canned when it all falls through). They're planning on re-opening the hotel in September. Planning on seven restaurants (I think Firefly will be moved back where Lombardi's used to be, don't remember what they're putting in the dome, maybe a steakhouse?), some casino renovations (hopefully not a lot of downgrades!). I think some of the plan is to return the Plaza to its former glory. We'll see. Honestly, we're kind of new to Vegas, have only been serious about our trips for maybe six years, but you can tell that the old Union Plaza in the '70s must have been something.

Anyway, I'll post a trip report in the next few days; not much to say about the Plaza aside from the above, though.
