Private Arrangements

When I recently booked our nights at the GN for September, the woman I was booking with told me we are members of Private Arrangements. What is PA and are there any benefits to belonging to it?
Private Arrangement is a loyalty program that was started back in the Steve Wynn days of the Golden Nugget. It provides a dedicated phone number for reservations and a dedicated reservation clerk. There used to be a seperate check in line for PA, but I'm not sure that still exists. The only other perk I can think of is a free night for a certain number of paid nights, I think 1 free for each 5 paid. It has been a few years since we have stayed there, but have always gotten good service and frequent upgrades using PA. The best part is that there is no required play to be involved in PA.
Thank you.
Whew. Im glad to see that explanation. I thought that maybe the GN was gettin involved in the funeral business

Been member of PA since 1997. They use to give our cards last one I recieved was 2008. They said just to hold on to it that cards were discountinued. Newer employees do not even have a clue what the card is. Use to be used as a line pass (some still honor it) at buffet. Upgrades possibility--they have a mailer they sent out every quarter and it gives a little room price (not much)---I feel that the PA program has gone way--way down since Landry's took over. Usually we get a Rush Tower upgrade but still like the North Tower best shorter walks nightly. Program use to be you have to stay 13 or 14 nights on and have at least 4 stays per year to have the card. Really don't think that is required anymore. In fact I believe 24 Karat Club room rates are better but you do not earn points for free stays. Points are Sunday through Thursday you earn 25 popints and weekends Friday Saturday 20 points each 100 point is a free night and entitles you to a regular room Carson Street Tower.
