Red Rock

WE stayed at Red Rock last week on a comp offer. The Resort is fantastic and very clean. Our room was fine, a little small but very nice. The casino was up to date and we won some so even better. Our only complaint was with the buffet. Not the buffet its self, the food and service was great for the price but the line systems is horrible. I have no problem with VIP lines, but the cashiers completely ignored the regular line. We ate there 3 times, breakfast twice, dinner once, same problem every time. other than that a great place to stay.
We have two myVegas buffet rewards to redeem in September but I plan to play there very little, if at all. It just doesn't make any sense for us to spend any of our bankroll there since we only come once a year. Glad to hear that the food is good. For free I'll stand in line.
Your complaints about the line is one of the things I love about the RR. As a President, I even get to bypass the handicap line and go right to the front (and, of course, I get 50% off). Super. It is, indeed, the best buffet in the Station's line-up.

Did you speak with a manager about this, at least after the second time?

Or hopefully you get to fill out an online survey, and you can detail this concern. Sounds like they need to re-organize that system. Glad everything else was up to expectations.

If you're a hotel guest you can stand in the same line as the handicapped (starts to the right as you face the front of the cashier booths.) No reason to stand in the regular line. It makes a big difference in wait times.
I can confirm Steve's comment: Hotel guests can stand in the shorter handicap line. Not as short as Captain Bill's VIP line, but still very short.
great info thanks
Thanks we didn't have a line when we went last year but we will be staying this September.
I used this line last Sunday - they have even officially added "Hotel Guests" to the name of the line.

Hotel Guests has been on the special line as long as I can remember. No way I would ever stand in the regular line. It is always very loooong!!
