Red Rock Fireworks

Seems to me that the fireworks at Red Rock this year were cut short and were missing their grand finale. Can anyone confirm whether or not this is true?

My niece and her husband were there and while i don't know if they were cut short, there was definitely no grand finale, they particularly mentioned that to me and were wondering if there was supposed to be one.

They had a problem -- I don't recall what it was, but I read it in the newspaper -- and for the sake of safety, they cut the show short.

I did notice that during the show there appeared to be several of the fireworks that went off at ground level. Probably weren't supposed to do that, so maybe that's why they cut things short.
