Resort fee at Gold Coast

Thas what probably happened to fireteam!

Just stayed comped at Gold Coast 2 weeks ago and was not charged the resort fee. The gal at checkin even mentioned that since I was comped, there were be no fee. Who knows if they will change their policy now that the fee has been raised.

I have never been charged a resort fee on a comped room at any Boyd properties. However the Resort fee at the Gold Coast is $9.99. I just checked it on there web site.

Well, if they try and make me pay it, I can always argue that it was only $3 when I booked the comp room!

Did anyone notice that the resort fee is now $9.99 according to the updated list? Of course, it now includes internet access and in reality, it's the cheapest of all that charge a resort fees.

I know I am chiming in late on this one, but we stayed at Orleans in April on comped nights and paid no resort fee. Also stayed in August 3 nights, 2 were comped, 1 we paid for and were charged the $9.99 resort fee. I hated paying it but did not challenge it. I am only guessing that GC would do something similar being a Boyd property.

Staying there this Weds and Thursday. You will hear me from Vegas to wherever if they charge me a Resort fee for my comped room!

I received a post card offer from Gold Coast last week that states comped rooms will be charged $9.99 resort fee

I have a reservation on October 28 and they told me no resort fee on a comped room. I'll take them on their word!
