Resort fee at Gold Coast

My 9/8 email confirmation for a comped room next week says "An additional $9.99 resort fee will be charged daily."

Thanks to those who have posted. If there is a resort fee on comped rooms, I will have to reconsider playing or staying at the Gold Coast.

I just booked two comped nights and my confirmation states that the there will be a resort fee for each night. I am a low roller, so me getting a room comped plus the resort fee is an awesome deal and I have no problem paying the extra $20. One thing I do like is they will check you in for your flight and print your boarding pass so that you can right to security at the airport.

We were there last week. Two comp days. No fee.

I also was there for 3 nights comped, and no fees.

Just booked two comped nights online tonight for Nov 25 & 26. Called the reservation number afterwards and was told NO resort or additional fees.

Given the fantastic resort that the Gold Coast is, I can totally understand why they would charge $9.99. Just think of all the amazing amenities you are getting at the GC!!!
