Resort Fee On Comped Room At Palms?

Does anyone know if Palms charges a resort fee on comped rooms?

The last time we were there, which is a while now, they did. Our host did get it taken care of however.

I stayed there last April in a comped room and was not charged the resort fee.

I stayed in a comped room in March and was not charged a resort fee either.

I just called the Palms this evening to make reservations for November, using one of their mailed room offers. I was able to get two nights comped, and the other two nights for $20/night. The reservationist told me there would not be a resort fee for the two comped nights, but there would be a $20/night resort fee for the other two nights. It is nice to know that at least they are not adding the resort fee to comped nights!
