Would anyone have an opinion where the best rooms in the Rio are located,or should I say what tower?
We like the Rio and stay there most of our trips to Vegas. We prefer the Ipanema Tower versus the Masquerade tower. I usually book the Deluxe Suite Non Smoking King Bed. All the rooms are large and have a fridge and safe which are two things we really prefer the rooms to have in them.
Thank you for your response, when we make it out there, I'll try and get the Ipanema Tower.
The Ipanema tower is the closest tower but the Masquerade tower has the Samba rooms which are the best renovated rooms. We've stayed in both towers and prefer the Masquerade tower rooms if you can get an upgrade.
We always slip the front desk person $20 at check in and ask "Do you have any complementary Samba rooms available?"
That has worked about 80% of the time
