RIO - Which tower is newer? What room should I ask for?

I did do a search of this site and didn't find what I was looking for. I have stayed at the RIO before, but I can't remember what the recommended tower and recommended rooms are? Any help? Got a trip there soon...

Ipanaema tower, strip/pool view. High floor..........always.
