Sam's Town gold card?

We just booked a room on an offer that includes a 'gold card'. Does this card give the bearer free food for the entire visit? Are all restaurants included or do they exclude the Steakhouse? Would appreciate any info from someone who has received one of these before.

Use it every visit. Good for the entire visit, but does not include McDonalds or Donunt shop. I always make advance reservations at the steak house and there is no limit (we spend between $100 and $200 each night there). We like to pick up some juices and other drinks at the deli, so we have something in the room.
The best thing going and it keeps me coming back to Sams (winning doesn't hurt either).

The "captain" was dead on. Unlimited food and beverage for entire stay at any restaurant/bar. Love it! Only reason I go to Sam's (and the VP I guess).

Thanks for your responses. So, the card is good for unlimited food and drinks? With no restrictions except no MD and no DD? That's crazy. I'm surprised they don't get people inviting 10 friends to the steakhouse and then cleaning them out. I don't play much at ST but now I'm dying to try this!

Lets not get carried away. The card has your names on it (2 people) or you can get a seperate card for each of you. The restaurants only gives you your meals for free, not guests. Of course, you can get creative on your ordering for the two fo you and share the extra, but don't expect that your guests will have free meals too.
My personal fav is to order a large steak and a side of crab legs (easily the best crab legs I've gotten in Vegas and they are already cut open)...do it for both of you and there is plenty.

Captain Bill; What kind of play does it take to get a gold card?

I thought there had to be some kind of restriction to it as it is just too good a deal otherwise. So, if there are two people staying in the room, you both get to eat for free?

The gold card is for two people. They don't have to be in the room and they can be different people every meal as long as the primary player is involved.

I play $ VP and average 50K a visit.

I average $15K a day on VP
