Sams town or Suncoast?

This is a strange year ,I will end up in Vegas 5 times a record for me.. Over Christmas and New Years I want to try something different. I will be at 3 night Harrahs, 3 nights at El Cortez designer suite (something new), 5 nights at 4 Queens and then I had 2 -3 nights extra.

I was thinking of trying suites in either the Sun Coast or Sams town . I want to be somewhere I don't feel obligated to play if I am tired of gambling by then. I want a nicer room and a variety of decent food near by. I am open to recommendations or suggestions.

I don't want to break the bank but I will splurge a bit. Fancy like Wynn/core ,Venetian do not interest me.

Try the Sun Coast, you will be pleased. Also, Red Rock is nearby.
I do like Red Rock but the regular rooms were starting at almost 300 a night YIKES . Thanks
Sam's town close to Eastside Cannery, Arizona Charlies Boulder, Boulder Station and Henderson (Sunset Station, Fiesta and the town with some local casinos) and across the street from Longhorn which I go to a lot cheap BJ and coffee shop. Small pool. Suncoast nicer pool close to Rampart and Redrock more upscale.

I do both repeatedly but location wise I would say Sam's as it is closer to more stuff for example 10 minutes to downtown without traffic. I live in Florida and have been going many times a year for many years so when I go I try to drill town into different places. At Sams you have easier access to more diverse local casinos I think so I would say Sams especially if you want to see different things. If you are leaning more towards fancy and not into exploring different places then Suncoast - just my opinion.

Sam's Town isn't as fancy as Suncoast, but you have more options at Sam's if it comes to looking for good video poker. I actually like Sam's Town buffet better than Suncoast as well.
Thanks for the thoughtful insights on Sams
GVR is only 10 minutes from Sams and it matches RR for upscale. I'm not as high on the Sams buffet, but their steak house, deli and ice cream parlor are excellent. They also have alot more new penny machines than Suncoast (according to my wife).
I haven't been to GVR in a long time, I did use to enjoy it but it just seems so far from everything. Thanks looks like it will probably be Sams unless something else pops up.
The last time we stayed at Sam's town the room was really dirty. The chair was some kind of plush and it was so dusty it got my suitcase dirty. The room must have been out of service for a long time because it was disappointing.

The room at Suncoast was much bigger, brighter and cleaner. There was a great view of the golf course across the street through a picture window. The room was much newer, felt more like a suite compared to Sam's town. Very similar to South Point rooms. Video Poker is better at Sam's but Suncoast has a way better room.
