Sam's Town Room Offers

I've been getting the 3-night per month comp from Sam's Town for years. However, now they've seemed to switch to "free nights" scattered throughout the month, which is a significantly less worthwhile offer. If I recall, they did this once before but soon went back to the standard 3-night offer. Anyone else affected by this marketing change?
Your right, they did do that once before and that was the last time we played there. There still are a lot of Sams fans on these boards so I'm sure some will chime in.
I think its not them "switching" the offers, but instead your player rating slightly changing between two different offer levels, the any 3 day, and the free calendar only level. The 3 day a week (and up) comp room offers still exist.
I've never received a three night offer. I've always received two and still get them.

I wonder how long it had been since Inavis had been to ST, or if anyone would care to venture how long between trips before your offers drop a notch?
The wife and I won't come close (for various reasons) to reaching our average number of days at ST over the last five years; but we were in for five nights in March.
We still both get the three free nights and $25 in free play; though for a long time (14-16 months?) she received gold card offers.
We stayed three nights in September of last year and are still getting the usual offers, into November so far. Three free nights and $10 food for DH, 2 free nights and $10 food for myself. No free play for either one of us.
Years ago we were getting three nights and $60.00 food credit (yea for Billy Bobs) Three years ago food credit was reduced to $15.00-- Last year we were down to $10.00 food credit (still 3 nights)-- In all of those years we went to Vegas at least 2 times a year. Due to illness, we have not been since August 2013. We leave August 26 for Vegas and are staying at Sams Town August 29-31 (3 nights and $10.00 food credit) Last week we got the NEW Sams Town 3 month offer sheet (Sept-Nov.) for Two nights and $10.00 food credit. I think that, since we have not visited Sams Town for one year, they have reduced the comp room offer. MSS has also reduced their uausl 3 night comp offer with $20.00 food voucher to September offer of 2 nights only (no food). Orleans and Suncoast offers have stayed the same so far.
We were at ST for 12 days last March and 7 this past July. My level of play has not changed from the past, which always kept me well into the Sapphire level. So, no, there has been no drop-off in level of play. Maybe the Sept.-Nov. offer will be forthcoming, as another poster has experienced.
I've been getting gold offers with 5 days and FP for the last 2 years and usually get a suite. I think times may be changing as I have not seen the monthly gold offer since June (which was thru Oct, which I am taking them up on). Play hasn't changed with an average 500K tier at any given time and half of it from Sams. The gold offer is what keeps us coming back and without it Sams drops way down on the list of places to stay...they just don't have enough FP DDB $ machines to keep me interested without the steak house dinners.

Saying your "level of play" keeps you well into Sapphire level is not a precise enough measure of play to judge the change of your offers. You need to track coin in per day. You can easily be well into Sapphire level and yet have offers vary.

Just for example I will tell you that I am well into Sapphire too, so one could describe my level of play just like you have, and yet my offers include a Gold card because my average play per day is much higher than yours.

Unless you track those figures (not estimates from memory, but actually logging them somewhere after each trip), then getting answers to offer level questions is difficult or impossible.

As you see, most others that have chimed in are not seeing changes in their offers.
