Silver Sevens

Thinking of walking to Silver Sevens from Ellis Island--looks like about 15 minute walk--to play my LVA coupon.  This was previously Terrible's...is that right?  Has it changed much?  I see an SS Tuesday "free gift" coupon at LVA also...anyone clue me in to what the gift might be??  just planning an afternoon stroll and this looks like it might be worthwhile.

Not sure of the gift, but it's not too bad of a walk.  Not sure how hot it will be when you go, but you may want to make sure to grab a water before you leave the EI, or hit the convenience store on the corner of Flamingo.   Have fun.  

My wild guess is that it would be the same gift that they're offering their club members on that day, either for free and announced in a mailer or a reward for a modest amount of play. If you check their website, you might see it in some kind of announcement.

Those sort of gifts are usually some kind of halfway decent household item, like a pearl-handled testicle crusher. No, wait, that was last month. I wouldn't make the trek for that alone,  but they have meal deals in their pretty good coffee shop. I wouldn't go in mid-afternoon, though, given that Inferno Time in Vegas has already started. People who live in less insane climates are constantly surprised by how debilitating it can be to have even a short stroll in the Inferno.

Oh, and yes, it used to be Terrible's, and before that, the Continental. Those two incarnations destroyed themselves by continually reneging on their own promotions. SS hasn't done that, as far as I'm aware.

I believe those are adjectives used to describe people who try to dominate internet message boards by starting dozens of threads a week. Also, those who respond to posts on those threads with insults and invective.
