Skipping Stations Next Vegas Visit - Well maybe not...see July visit comments.

Not much love at Stations with a $40 FP and $25 Food comp. Since I already have 115,000 pts this 6 months, already have President for August & Oct visits. With 3 indifferent host in 3 years at RR, think I'll try GVR next visit (ends my streak at RR at 15 straight stays).
Wife has a 16K slot tourney at Orleans, I have one at Paris (staying at PH) and we finish up with a gold card at Sams. It will be a great trip without our usual RR visit!

Captain, stations don't want players from our of town, or local winners. Shame, because I used to love Red Rock and GVR.

I live out of town and my current offer is for three free nights at Red Rock. Station Casinos are frustrating because their offers are inconsistent. I play over 100% machines so most of my play is still at their places.

Stations really tightened everything up. They used to be very generous with offers and comps. I still like their casinos, but am starting to feel used there.

April was my first trip in many years where we did not stay at Palace Station. I love their casino, and their tower rooms, but all my offers dried up. Orleans and Gold Coast were able to comp me the entire 7 night stay, 2 at the Orleans and 5 at Gold Coast and we took advantage of that.

I have no love for the Gold Coast, as we never seem to win there. But free is free, so that's where we will stay.

The Gold Coast has always been a looser for me too, but the remodeled rooms are nice. At least our nights at the Orleans are in my wife's name (so she can be in the tourney), so no pressure on me to put alot thru...already have enough for my next Emerald anyway. We may end up giving the room to one of our California friends and just stay at the PH & Sams.

I got my latest mailer from Red Rock today. All spring and summer I've received a calendar for free room nights. On my dates in September, there are none. I am so sick of that. It has happened on my last four trips. I'm going to stay free at Main Street Station and Sam's Town and move my Station's play to Boulder Station.

I've had big wins at Texas Station and Boulder Station the last couple years. I can care less about comps as long as that streak continues.

Love the big casino bar at Boulder Station. 7/5 BP with progressive is a great way to spend the commercial breaks on the NFL games all over the big tv's. Its one of favorite NFL Sunday spots.

I'm of the opinion that some of what you're experiencing might be due to your constantly staying there. Places seem to send better offers if you haven't been there for a while and so they may think that you might take anything from there (including bad or no offers) because they don't have much reason to doubt your loyalty.

Could be Rec. Just got back from another visit and this one included a stay at Sunset Station (where we havn't stayed in probably 10 years). The host there has been trying to get me to come back and offered me $200 in FP and an upgraded room. When I checked in there was no indication of an upgraded room so I mentioned to the hotel manager that it probably would not get me back from RR. He said, let me take care of you. Boy, he sure did!! The nicest suite we've stayed in...4 rooms and about 1000 Square feet. We were impressed! Have to think hard about going back there in October rather than the RR.
And the nice thing about Sunset (other than the beautiful casino) is its FP DDB on all the slant tops at the $ level. It also helps that I was really lucky and walked away with my sixth biggest win ever.
Went by GVR for dinner one evening and we became really disenchanted with the casino. About half of the FP DDB machines (slant tops) had disappeared and the President VIP line at the buffet was combined with a very long handicapped line. We didn't bother staying and went off the RR for dinner.
First 3 nights of visit was at Southpoint and we had a great time (never stayed there before). My wife missed a $1,000 win in the slot tournament by less than a 100 points, but I broke even on the DDB and put thru about 35K, so we expect to be invited back.
