Love South Point. Love their food, their rooms, their gambling. Dislike their lack of comps for non locals.

I already booked SP for my June/July 4th trip.

We have stayed the last four years at SP and have gotten virtually all meals comped and the last two years had the rooms comped as well. Most of our play is $10-$15 bj so I am a believer in their comps. Note that all comps have been done by the pit bosses, not a host.

Funny I just received my may, june and july mailer. And this sale has similar rates. Weekdays $35 to $40. Weekends $70 to $90. Plus some minimal cash back.

I have stayed there my last 4 trips. And like Bob I have gotten rooms comped and some meals. I as a VP player go through a host. But my request for a room is never questioned and I do like SP. So I just look at the mailer put it in my desk and just call when it is time.

Received an offer in snail mail today for SP that offers a suite for 2 nights and $50 gaming and $50 food. We did stay there one night on our last visit a few months back. Was surprised to see an offer however.

Hopefully we can use it this summer. It runs from May through July.

It is funny my first SP offer was the best after a 1 nite stay. Similar to yours. Now that I became more regular they have gotten worse. Now my play would close to 7k per day.

That is probably why. I could care less about discretionary food comps (I hit the buffet/coronado cafe each day), more about future mailers/free rooms.
