My local casino has a 5x spin for $1K in on video poker on a specific day of each week. I'd say the average of the 5 spins is about $60. Best game is 9/5 JoB at 98.45. Fun little low-roller promotion. There are $50/$150/$550 on the wheel spin as well. I've hit the $550 about once a year and $150 about 3x a year.
So while this SP promotion is good, there are far better ones out there to be found but usually at local casinos in the US.
My South Point swipes are improving. The last two were $50 and $100 free play. The first three were $15 each. Current total is $195 in five swipes ($15,000 coin-in) = 1.3%.
We also improved yesterday with $75 and $25. Total is now $275 for 10 spins, which is .92%
Yesterday we got $75 and $25.
Total for the month was $475 in 14 spins.
Not much to do with this thread, but a friend of mine flies to Vegas and South Point in July for a Bingo tournament. She loves Bingo and plays at some small joint here in town, often wins a nice little jackpot $1-2K.
I didn't know any Vegas casino offers Bingo anymore, but apparently I'm wrong.

They are all over. Plaza has some big events. Bobby Vegas has mentioned it in a few of his blogs. A year and a half ago my wife and I played Bingo at Sam's Town, so pretty sure all or most of the Boyd casinos have bingo.

The hard-core bingo joint is still Arizona Charlie's Decatur, a locals' casino that has offered bingo games round-the-clock, seven days a week, for decades. The games are offered at odd hours, so 1 pm, 3 pm, etc.
The after-midnight sessions are actually advantage plays, as there are guaranteed payouts regardless of the number of players, and the coverall is always pretty good--but the number of participants is small. I've informally calculated my EV edge from buying in for the minimum (usually $6 or $8), and found it to be upwards of thirty percent (!).
So one of my late-night budget activities has always been to go there in the wee hours, play two bingo sessions, and in between, have their good cheapo breakfast in the coffee shop. Good times!
I'm getting more and more convinced that the best advantage play using South Point promos is to not play at all until the last week of the month. (Edit: this excludes promos with a fixed, non-variable return, such as the present Wally/Chevron cards or their half-price points promo.)
