If I remember correctly, it used to be Mon-Thurs. So now it's only three days a week.

Little by little, South Point is tightening up.

But notice how now it is spread out over 5 days and only Mon, Wed and Fri count?  Another lean towards the locals which is what I've been seeing at SP for the last couple of years.  And also notice how the points keeps going up, up and up each time they have this?  Used to $8K in to get the max 4 spins on VP.  Now it is basically $10K to get the max 3 spins.

I still love SP but the spinkters are tightening there even as well.

I find it ridiculous that people seem to be always whining about the value of South Point promotions. Just where else in Vegas is any other casino having similar promotions? While it may be true that the promotions offered are not as generous as they have been in the past, they are still generous and are a free bonus to those who gamble there. I say be thankful for what they offer, and if you don't like the trend, then don't gamble there.

Looked back on my calendar:

Jan 21, Jun 21 & Jan 22 -  8,000 points = 4 spins Mon - Thur

Jun 22  - 10,000 points = 4 spins Mon - Thur

Mar23 - 10,050 = 3 spins - Mon, Wed & Fri.

Yes SP is definitely cutting back But the good thing is that they are not eliminating the promotions.

Thanks for posting that history.   I was wondering if there was any spin limits in the past.  Happy they are having anything that a vistor can actually get some value out of, this month.

Fair enough.  I was just pointing out that even there it is shrinking.  Pretty soon there will be no good promos in Vegas.  For those waiting for Vegas to turn back, you'll be waiting forever.

I find it ridiculous that someone makes a gratuitous and nasty remark about someone else expressing their opinion. Also, that someone says "I say..." like they were entitled to issue orders.

Feel free to have and express your opinion about Vegas, or anything else.

Mrs. Don and I went to South Point this morning. We each "earned" 3 spins. For the six spins we got $107.50 in free play and points. And the spin feature activated at 3,300 points.

So the promo was good for an additional .54% in addition to the return on the game and the value of the 9,900 points. On NSUD its a total return of 100.6%. Ain't too shabby!

Good to hear. I am unfamiliar of any other casino having similar offers - if anyone knows of such, please post here in the forum. Personally, I will be back in Vegas the 24th and I will avail myself of this offer.
