South Point August 2024 Promotion

The one thing that some overlook is that there are few, if any, other casinos who offer any type of consistent promotions that can add value to those who gamble.I look at these bonus offerings much the same way as I look at free play - they are just more bullets in my arsenal that I have while chasing a jackpot.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA

Once again, you did my bidding! You're my bitch!

Repost it again, David! Go for the gold!

Kevin and David, please keep the personal attacks to the Sink where they belong.  Thanks.

OK. David's original post in this thread was a thinly veiled personal attack, but I shouldn't have dignified it with a response. I would still like to hear from other LVAers (not him) who have played at South Point.

I have not attacked anyone. Apparently one is not allowed to express their viewpoint without their post being scrutinized, disected and critiqued in order to be allowed. I stand by what I have said and will not take a personal attack and abuse from anyone. This type of behavior needs to stop - it is unjustified and wrong.

David, your post that started all this was a personal attack. While you didn't mention me by name, the fact that it directly followed my post where I complained about South Point's comp policies and your use of weasel words made it obvious.

You LUVVVV to do this widdle twick. Post your personal attacks outside the Sink, but change the language so that you can deny any wrongdoing. And I'm sure you'll continue to deny that a personal attack was your aim.

Furthermore, your habit of posting and reposting the exact same screed over and over is idiotic, childish, and pointless. You think you're scoring some kind of points by doing that. You're not--quite the opposite.

Now say whatever self-justifying crap you want. I'm done talking to you.

I feel kind of guilty for treating David like a carnival kewpie doll. I mean, it's fun to yank his chain, and he's so compliant when I goad him into doing something stupid--just look at how many times he's posted and reposted the same thing, in accordance with my wishes--but it's ultimately like winning a battle of wits with a three-year-old. No real satisfaction there.

This has to be about the five hundredth thread that David's destroyed. I was hoping to get feedback from other South Point players, and I do want to thank everyone who's contributed. Even David has provided some useful info, though that was only a byproduct of his vendetta.

Meanwhile...let's go hit some royals!

I returned after a four-day visit. Went to South Point, played quarters, got tired after accruing 500 points so I stopped. That 1500 points video poker at 25 cent levels takes awhile. Broke even. Good to learn that the value is roughly $25. Maybe next time.

Quick question -- is there any shuttle, bus line, or whatever from Las Vegas proper to South Point? I read about $75 one-way for a cab. Don't really want to do that. Car rentals are pricey now and a pain. I did a one-day rental the last couple of trips.

Any thoughts?

There is uber and lyft. The only shuttle I am aware of is to/from the airport. There is probably a bus line, but I don't know much about the buses since I always rent a car. Someone else may be able to help with the bus option.
