South Point August 2024 Promotion

I returned after a four-day visit. Went to South Point, played quarters, got tired after accruing 500 points so I stopped. That 1500 points video poker at 25 cent levels takes awhile. Broke even. Good to learn that the value is roughly $25. Maybe next time.

Quick question -- is there any shuttle, bus line, or whatever from Las Vegas proper to South Point? I read about $75 one-way for a cab. Don't really want to do that. Car rentals are pricey now and a pain. I did a one-day rental the last couple of trips.

Any thoughts?

The RTC line 117 route drops off at South Point roughly every half hour. Cost is $6 from the RTC South Transit Terminal.

Yesterday we got $10 and $45. The month to date results:

1 $10

1 $15

1 $20

1 $40
3 $45

1 $50

Thanks. The info is much appreciated!

After five swipes so far Player 1 averaged $60 ($300/5) and Player 2 averaged $50 ($250/5).

Between Mrs. Don and I, we averaged "only" $35.

I've looked into the 60+ fare and I believe that it's lower.  Take care.

For the first 3 weeks Mrs. Don and I averaged a shade under $42 per play.

That is really good.  Almost 3%

Any idea what they might have in September?  I'm headed out 9/9-9/13.

This is just a guess, but in the past, they've followed spin-and-win-type promos with the famous gas or Wally Card promo. While that one's worth less than the spin stuff on a per-dollar basis, it's better for visitors because they can play a lot in a short time, even maxing it out.

I'm fearing their race-sponsored whiskey gifts.......
