Thanks in advance!

Jerry,
Good to get back on topic.
So far its been a little below the average from the past promotions. We have won $182.50 on 12 spins, which equates to an additional .46%.
But the South Point has been experiencing technical glitches since the promotion started and the glitches have not been corrected. For example the "points earned for the spin indicator" (green bar at the bottom of thge screen) does not always work. And if its not working, then you have to jump through hoops to get the spin activated. They have to go through IT and it takes a while.
Yesterday I left two spins "on the table" because I had to be somewhere and IT was very slow in fixing. This morning I'm sending a letter to the Director of Slot Operations asking for the two spins or their equivalent to be added to my account.
What bothers me the most is that this issue has not been corrected.

The last two times I have played at South Point, I noticed that employee response for machine issues ( out of paper, buttons not working, hand pays, etc.) have been taking a lot longer to be addressed than in the past - I suspect it might have to do with the number of employees working during the shifts.

That is very annoying. I may go spin by spin then and make sure I get it in a few weeks
Went to the South Point website and sent an email about the Spin to Win issues. Got a response pretty quickly apologizing for the problems, yada yada yada. They did add $50 in free play onto my card...$25 for each missing spin.
Will be going down there later this morning. Lets hope the IT folks have fixed the issues.

That's interesting intel in that it suggests what they think the spins are worth--just south of $25. If that's true, we can assign a value of about 0.8% to them.

Whatever the amount that this offer amounts to, it is still better than nothing, and there is the possibility of one actually receiving one of the larger bonuses. Looking a gift horse in the mouth is just plain dumb - and could cause the cessaction of this and any future offers.

I think they overdid it due to Don's issues. But good for Don!

How is estimating the value of a promo "looking a gift horse in the mouth"?
Saying something like that is just plain dumb. But we know what you're doing, David--you're stalking me outside the Sink again. I'm sorry to keep showing you up, but geez, take it like a man for once.

"Looking a gift horse in the mouth" is my way of saying quit complaining about what is being offered - doing so often and loud enough will give South Point a reason not to offer these perks. As far as "stalking " you is concerned, I have every right to give my opinion, and if it happens to be in a topic you are commenting in - I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. In case you havn't noticed, all of the various forum subject areas are there for every and any one to post to whenever they wish.
