South Point January Promotion

I just saw a couple of billboards announcing that we can earn points for buffet Mondays through Thursdays in January.

Oh fabulous.  You can always earn points for buffets though.  

Do you recall the specifics? Because you've always been able to earn points and use them to pay for buffets or whatever.

There were no more specifics but it did say they were "free buffets" so perhaps fewer points will be needed or we can keep the points. We'll find out more when we receive the locals mailers or they add this promo to their website.

Yeah, they announce their promos on their webite only a day or two before they're supposed to start. I hope this is a promo everyone is eligible for (not just locals). Their buffet is worth playing for.

IMHO, not a good promotion. The lines at the buffet are usually very long and this will make them even longer. Count me out.

There will be a "Hot Seat" giveaway on Martin Luther King Day January 15th 8am to midnight. 320 winners will be randomly awarded $100 in free slot play. On average 20 winnwrs every hour, that is awinner every three minutes.

  The One Glaring thing that you have overlooked, as stated, in the flyer is that these buffet coupons are Valid to use Monday thru Thursday and only expire on 2/8/24.

Don, this seems really good, especially if you receive coupons that are good after the day you earn them. 2,400 points on VP takes only 3-4 hours to earn. If you get TWO meals for spacing that out in a given day, so much the better.

Lunch: $19; dinner, $27 (club players' price)

So, lunch alone, $1200 gets you a $19 comp (1.62%)

And if you keep playing on that day, $1200 more gets you a $27 comp (2.25%)

OR...just earn the dinner for $2400. and that's a $27 comp (1.12%)

This seems like a killer deal. Yes, the buffet lines will be long. But there are times of day when you can escape that to some extent. Especially if you receive coupons that can be used at a later day than when you actually play.
