Not for dinner--thst would be wrong. Not on the weekend--that would be wrong.
$50 expected loss on slots, or about $6 on their best VP. So, a cheap way to feed your face to start the day.

I never complain when a casino adds added value to my normal play, which is what this is - Free Buffets Monday through Thursday in July for 500 points on slots or 1500 on video poker for one free breakfast, lunch or brunch buffet. I don't think Kevin is saying that. He is just saying it is about as minor as a promotion as you could possibly have while it is 115 degrees outside but maybe that is why they think they don't need any.

David, you complain about twenty or more things every day in the Sink, so I'm not surprised that you don't have time to complain elsewhere.
You're right that "adds added value" is better than "subtracts subtracted value." 😂😂😂😂

I remember when July/August used to be the doldrums in Vegas and if you were willing to tolerate the heat, terrific bargains could be had. Now, it's apparently still high season, the recent tourism slowdown caused by Trump notwithstanding. Furthermore, it's considerably hotter there/then than it used to be, because of that woke liberal hoax climate change.
So yeah, Jerry, my reaction is that you'd have to get there pretty early in the day to play the necessary amount in time for lunch, never mind breakfast. I don't know if you can earn on Day 1 and redeem on Day 2, which would require two visits.
It may be a pretty decent promo compared to what's out there now, but I can't help but think about how things used to be--even at South Point. And it's not like the promo is a money-loser for them. Most people will play slots to earn the needed points, which results in a $50 "free" buffet.

I think you can earn the buffet and you have until like August some time to use it.

It would be nice if you could get a credit of some kind to use for dinner or on the weekend. Let's say the comped lunch is worth $20--then how about $20 off dinner, if you wish?
Or for that matter, a $20 food credit usable at any restaurant in the casino?
My expectation is that the lunch lines will be ridiculous. The locals will be all over this one.
The flyer says "Same Day Base Points." I hope that means earn, not redeem.
Also...it's a you keep your points promo, so the cost to the expert NSUD player is zero.
