South Point June 2025 Promotion

The only promo on the June mailer is a Father's Day Hot Seat Giveaway Sunday June 15th.

Really sucks!

I don't tecall--is this normal for them, to not have promos in the summer?

The last summer month with NO promotion was July 2022. Every other month had a promo of some kind.

They are getting worse and worse but what would require them to keep them going when hardly anybody else does them?  They do enough to keep the local crowd flooding in as it is.

And man have their prices gone up for food.  Coronado cafe had almost everything jump $2-$3.

I've been reading some of those articles and watching items about how Vegas is really suffering with new visitors.  I'm about to join that list of non-returning visitors.  I just don't see how it is worth it to keep going out there.  I've probably cut my trips in half over the last 2-3 years.

Amen, Jerry.

Im really struggling what to do with my Sep trip.     Im Seriously considering Reno but its hard to do Reno for a whole week.

Im sick of rewarding Vegas for tighening the screws.   The locals' places were the last bastion of good play and they're getting worse too.

what to do....what to do...

Terrible.I enjoy Las Vegas so much. Not for just gambling.Yet would be nice to get a jackpot.Help pay for shows and meals.I miss the old times.Got really bad post Covid. I will be 81 years old this June visit.May not have enough more years too worry about it. California Indian Casino's really bad.

Patricia - Current indications concerning the reduction in visitation and revenue has shown that visitors are tired of being gouged. Recently I have noticed that the casinos are slightly loosening up with more room offers, a return of 3/2 blackjack and a lowering of minimun table game bets. I expect to see more casinos- especially the rip off Strip casinos, to begin comping more and offering deals. We shall see....

Why not do Reno for that long? There are quite a few casinos to visit. You also have Tahoe for a day trip--it'll be really nice in September.

Also...there are some cool locals' casinos in Carson City, which is near Virgina City...another totally cool day trip.

The play is to get established at Peppermill and Atlantis, two locals' casinos that are near to and fiercely compete with each other. Great VP, excellent food, and lots of promos.

Reno. See my reply to PJ. It's a much better atmosphere.
