You can use the Casserole Pan Set and Bamboo Appetizer Set for gifts, office party drawings, etc. Who isn't in search of (LOL) a misplaced flashlight now and then, so maybe not so bad. Backpack Cooler, again maybe for a hostess gift for some occasion, pool party, etc.
Designate a 'corner' in a closet for 'useless casino swag that might serve a gift purpose. Easier to look through one place instead of trying to remember 'where I put that thing I got from XYZ casino two years ago.'
But, are they worth using up a vacation day or half your paycheck for? Not usually, 'cause you can buy the same thing for much less than what you'd spend chasing it at a casino. JMHO.

"Bamboo Appetizer"? How do you make bamboo appetizing? Unless this month's mailer is targeted at panda bears.
South Point obviously believes it needs no promo incentives next month to get people in the front door. And they're probably right. No reason to visit Vegas now.

I always find it amusing when people complain about free stuff. Personally, I have little use for most free stuff and I give away or don't redeem the items. Some months the offers are great and some not so great. People have become spoiled and forget all of the great things South point offers on a regular basis.

One of those appetizer sets was the 'gift' at another casino. Probably similar if not the same as the one South Point is giving away. Not terrible, nicely boxed. If I remember correctly there was a bamboo (more faux than real bamboo) fork handle or something as part of it. I gave mine to a friend who gave it to her housekeeper.

I could have used the backpack cooler yesterday at the Indy 500. Instead mine was slung over one shoulder.
