South point rooms/hotel vs Suncoast rooms/hotel..your thoughts?

We stay at the South Point every year for a couple of days at the end of the second weekend of the NCAA BB Tournament. We really like the place. We are always comped and last year was the first year SP had a resort fee. We did not have to pay it on a comped room but we still got to use the amenities (unlike CET). The drmilled entry seems to indicate that he/she had a comped room, did not have to pay the resort fee, but was not allowed to use the amenities. Is this correct drmilled? I need to know because our annual comped stay is coming up at the end of March.
Have stayed at both and the rooms are the same-frig in SC. SP casino much larger and many more places to eat then SC. I'd give the SC buffet a better score then SP and I think the SC steakhouse is fantastic. Overall because of all the choices, SP is a better option. Both good places-have fun picking. By the way we find the hosts at SC to be very easy to work with.
If you are comped at SP, there is no fee and you do get to use the fitness center. It consists of a bunch of treadmills, stationary bikes, some elipticals (I think), and some weights. There are also plenty of tv's to keep your mind occupied but you do need earphones to hear them.
One other difference I just remembered is that SP is more susceptible to massive crowds, likely due to the plethora of families that stay there. I can't recall ever seeing long lines at SC.
