OK, here's a question to ponder. I'm headed to LV in 2 weeks, and have been waiting, without success thus far, for my mailer from Sunset Station to arrive, since booking codes are no longer listed on the offers listed on the website. I finally called and spoke with Burma yesterday, and she gave me a code that provided a comped room for about 1/2 the 90 day period covered by the mailer. Now, I don't know if the code she provided is the one on my non-existent mailer, but I previously was receiving a postcard for virtually every night comped. So, I did some guessing and messing around, and voila!, came up with a code that will give me the 3 free nights that I am looking to book.
The question is, 1) do you need the postcard at check-in, and/or 2) do the check-in-lings check your BP account to make sure that whatever code was used online to book the room matches whatever info they access during check-in? (Do they even have access to this info?) I don't recall ever being asked for the postcard before, but I also don't want to get anyone in trouble, and I really don't want to pay for the room, especially not the exorbitant resort fees!
Any thoughts on this? Thanks for your input!
